About Tian Zhong Hotel
Tian Zhong Hotel was newly established in September 2019. Our hotel located at Tian Zhong Township which as known as “Home of Rice” in Changhua, it is clean, comfortable and filled with rural passion. It is the first brand-new designed hotel in southern Changhua which is nearby Tian Zhong train station.
The original intention for designing Tian Zhong Hotel was expecting to make an anchor point for every traveler as comfortable as at home, which is warm and filled with sense of belonging. Travelers could forget about their worries temporarily, wander around the city and discover its living culture.
Tian Zhong Hotel is the best choice for living when travelling to Changhua. A simple, clean and industrial-style hotel with top-quality, having sufficient equipment and comfortable environment. Travelers can take a rest after a hard day and welcome another nice day with energy.
Design Concepts．Architecture
Tian Zhong Hotel integrates architectural concrete with natural gray and white lines. Calm, fashion and modern-appearance architecture never go out of style, and matching with the outdoor landscaping presents hipster’s style completely. The One Acre of Land even symbolizes the meaning of Tian Zhong. Simple, non-gorgeous, self-conscious paddy field in Tian Zhong hotel is full of Taiwanese passion. It isn’t a simple building for accommodation, but a hotel with filled stories and vitality.
Designer treats nature as primary element for Tian Zhong Hotel. Natural-original materials are presenting simple style but not losing its warmness. In addition, Travelers could feel local and traditional culture from Tian Zhong Township during staying at our hotel . By One Arce of Land, simple life of “rising up with the sun, resting with the sunset” in the early days can be expressed; in addition, the hard work feeling of farming can be realized by DIY planting process. Delicate and deepened design technique were applied to lead people to go back to the simple and happy times in the back of their mind unconsciously.
Public Area
The inner lobby took on gray tone as its main body and is accompanied with wooden shelves. The variability of lines was applied to make the whole space filled with zooming and energetic sense. The whole row of French windows at 1F makes the outdoor scenery filled with overall hipster and yuppie style. There is a whole bookcase on the hallway, which is built after the discussion between the founder and the designer. Straight lines with different angles at the center were applied to implement the interaction between the dynamic and the static of the frame so that the bookcase can form a picture frame. Books and travelers are the main roles in the picture.
Resting area and kitchen were designed as open self-service bar so that the designer, who enjoys interacting with people, can interact with the travelers. In addition, the wall cupboard above makes the kitchen an exhibition space.
Bedroom
Designers used pure-white and light wooden floor to create relaxing and comfortable leisure atmosphere for each guestroom, and theme wall in each guestroom had designed with different color as base, such as Ink black, lavender purple, peach pink, aqua blue and azure. Each guestroom presents unique atmosphere because of various tones.
Rooms at the top floor are also designed by simple white tone as base & joined with comic elements, and frames consist of ink black lines were one by one drew by professional painters. By this novel design in guestrooms, it not only makes travelers feel entering fantastic and charming world, but also creates surprising memories in the trip.
The Field

Due to Tian Zhong township was located at center of paddy fields in early days. Ancients named this township as “Tian Zhong” which is same as meaning of “center of fields” in Chinese. One Acre of Land not only symbolizes name of “Tian Zhong”. But also express first-generation spirit to each traveler. We are expecting all of travelers could slow down their life pace and enjoy humanism and leisure with our paddy field – “One Acre of Land”. Open your mind and store rural memories in your deep mind.
Nowadays, most people live in modern have gradually forgotten rural culture such as “rising up with the sunrise, resting with the sunset. People gossiping at the front yard; Children playing and laughing”. Designers and founders expect to create connection with travelers by the One Acre of Land to go back to simple and happy times together.
The Field

Tian Zhong Township was named by word-by-word meaning. That is, the center of field since it is located at the center of paddy fields and surrounded by paddy fields. Later, it is shortened as “field center” (translation by meaning). One Acre of Land not only symbolizes its name, but also inherits the first-generation spirit to the travelers so that they can enjoy the humanism and leisure and slow-living travelling pace, feel the life and write a simple and pretty rural memory together.
Nowadays, in the modern times, people have gradually forgotten about the rural times: people rising up with the sun, resting with the sunset and gossiping at the front yard; children playing and laughing. The founder and designers hope to make connections with the travelers by the One Acre of Land to go back to the simple and happy times together.
